This is the set of bills or “Krona” I did for the country of Sweden. Sweden is a very modern industrial and progressive country so I wanted the bills to reflect that. The concept behind my bills is to show this progressiveness through the past and present history of Sweden. The 100 krona bill design was to show exploration. The back of the bill was to show early viking explorers while the modern Sweden bill’s design is the exploration of the field of science. The 50 krona bill design is to show Swedish industry and the back shows the agrarian society of sweden’s past. The front shows the modern technological and industrial present through the city of Stockholm. The 20 krona bill’s design was to show the architectual progressiveness through it’s old churches as it compares to the modern architecture of Sweden.
